High Five for Manny

I don’t know if we’ve ever shared a sports highlight on Mestew, but this one I feel is worth sharing. Manny Ramirez, one of baseball’s biggest characters, takes a lot of heat for his random flakiness. Any time there’s an incident, people use a now common baseball phrase: Manny being Manny. Yesterday, Manny was more than just Manny against the Baltimore Orioles. He constructed the most unique double play I have ever seen. He catches a ball on the run, high fives a fan, then fires the ball into first base for the last out of the inning. Any baseball coach would have lit into the outfielder if they did such a thing, but this is Manny being Manny. I love it.

This is the same guy that during a game last year, during a pitching change, opened the trap door in the Green Monster and proceeded to relieve himself into an empty beer bottle. How can you not love that guy?!?!
