If You’re Happy and You Know It, Clap Your Hands… (long pause)
Mestew Nation, what’s the deal! I’ll tell you what, times are tough right now. Gas prices are not going lower. The stock market is teetering near crashing. Major banks and investment firms are either folding or getting major stakes purchased by other countries. Our nation’s unemployment rate is over 6% and over 590,000 people lost their jobs last month alone. If you’re a Democrat, you’re in fear of eight more years of this. If you’re a Republican, you’re in fear of a black man ruling our country.
It’s sad and it’s sickening. Do you want to know why there’s been a bit of a lull at Mestew lately? This is why. We rant and rave, but even we get in ruts from time to time. That is why we’re calling on you to help pull us and the rest of Mestew Nation out of this funk. It’s time to shield away some negative energy for once and share a positive story. Share with the world something that has made you happy in the past week. We all could use a pick-me-up.

what has made me happy in the last week?
i went and hung out on the ocean last sunday, and it was amazing. the waves were huge and the beach was packed. nothing gets you in better spirits than lots of beautiful women in bikinis… and then some d-bag came and tried to ruin all the fun.
as my wife and i were enjoying a frosty beverage at the beach bar, an overweight middle-aged man went over to our spot and stole my volleyball. i ran him down and got it back. i wanted to spike him in the face with it. but i’m a lover not a fighter.
moral of the story: the beach makes me happy.
