Meet your 2012 GOP Candidates

What better time than now to put together a list of 2012 Republican party threats to President-Elect Obama’s crown? I am sure a lot will happen between now and then, but it is fun to take a look at how things shape up as of today. So take a quick look and let me know if I left someone out.

Not a Chance
- John McCain: His Presidential dreams have come to an unfortunate end.
- Newt Gingrich: Too conservative, to crazy…
- Jeb Bush: The Bush Dynasty has come to an end.
- Arnold: Constitution aint changing to his favor in the next 4 years.

Outside Shot
- Mitt Romney: He may take another whack at it
- Mike Huckabee: A lot of people like this guy
- John Thune: Don’t know much about him, but I hear he is in play for 2012.

Punchers Chance
- Sarah Palin: That’s right folks, old Sar-Bear is here to stay. I wonder if that cooking session with Matt Lauer helped her approval rating.
- Tim Pawlenty: He is an up and comer. The Minnesota Governor will be there at the end of primary season.

Estew’s Favorite
- Bobby Jindal: This young Louisiana Governor will compete with Obama. He will be the face of the party for a long time… as long as he steers clear of bathroom scandals, sex controversies, and illegal investments.

Ah the best part of my day… speaking my mind on MESTEW… I personally think it’ll be between Palin, Romney, and Huckabee… Jindal is the outside shot. He has four years to make a name for himself (which would be plenty for the right guy). But lets not forget about David Petraeus. I’m calling it right now… He’s a definite outside shot also! It’s been a long time since we’ve had a military genius president. Or a smart “well-versed” republican running for that matter.

my pick is Bobby Jindal. he could be just the guy to energize the party.

funny you should mention the end of days mestew. The mayan calender says it happens in 2012, right when Obama is up for election. Alot of the religious wack jobs think obama is the anti-crist.hahahhaha(i dont beleive this) http://www.barackobamaantichrist.blogspot.com

I’m having a little trouble picturing the conservative bible-bangers vote an Indian-American man as president. You think statements like “That One” made it big this year, wait til a guy that makes everyone nervous sitting on a plane tries to run.

My pick for the Republicans in 2012: Joe the Plumber. This guy represents the religious whacks perfectly - so wrapped up in a false story that eventually he and millions of others believe it’s actually true.

???? The guy was voted into office in red neck louisiana for christ sake(no pun intended)! If you can make it Louisiana you can make it anywere The only prob i see is that he is catholic, and those cristians hate them some catholics.

So true about Joe the plumber M.E.hahah..mmmm but then again a guy named obama got into office..so i guess crazy *$%# can come true

just because you didn’t make it as a write in for candidate for Comstock Township Supervisor doesn’t mean you can’t try for President, M.E.!!

I wish my man Rudy G. didn’t screw up so bad. I love that guy and agree with him on a lot of issues. He just can’t keep his hands clean!

Nobody throws out Ron Paul?

I’d love to throw out Ron Paul.

Jindal, Palin, Romney and Huckabee are the easy pics from the 2008 political season. Add Rep. Paul Ryan and Rep. Eric Cantor and the list is complete. Look for a return to Reagan conservatism - small government, strong defence, lower taxes, lower spending and traditional values to be the hallmarks of the 2010 & 2012 Republican revival.
