Democratic Roman Catholics, Your Souls are at Risk
Oh man, you Democratic R.C.s are in deep now. According to the Rev. Jay Scott Newman from Columbia, SC, your souls are at risk if you voted for Barack Hussein Obama because, “our nation has chosen for its chief executive the most radical pro-abortion politician ever to serve in the United States Senate or to run for president.” Newman says supporting Obama “constitutes material cooperation with intrinsic evil.” He then goes on to say, “Catholics who do so place themselves outside of the full communion of Christ’s Church and under the judgment of divine law… should not receive Holy Communion until and unless they are reconciled to God in the Sacrament of Penance, lest they eat and drink their own condemnation.” FWIW, 54% of Catholics chose Obama according to national exit polls.

Mestew Nation, don’t let the Rev. make you feel ashamed of your vote. It’s time to stand proud and the best way to do so is to purchase an “I Put My Soul at Risk for Obama” t-shirt! That’s right, Mestew.com is featuring these beauties along with other great Mestew apparel at our online store, A Mestew Thing or Two.

Please pass the condemnation. And I’d like some gravy with that.

It’s a shame that someone like that has influence over others. It’s funny how people view and value life. For instance, killing fetuses is somehow worse than killing innocent Iraqi civilians… hmmmmm, maybe we should’ve elected McCain and continued both.

Selling t-shirts is like comedy - timing is everything. The T-shirt is cute - but the timing is wrong. The election is over, and I suspect sales will be weak.
However, unless you are an atheist, every choice you make has a moral implication - some greater than others. Few choices have more moral weight than our vote. I doubt very many church going Roman Catholics voted for Obama because of his pro-abortion voting records - rather they are complex multi-issue voters who voted for him despite Obama’s poor record defending the least of his brothers.
In the end it is our maker who will judge us - not to good Reverend Newman. Our elected officials should keep this in mind. “Defender of abortion rights” might not be the best epitaph on a tomb stone.

I anticipate you are right about the t-shirts sales. And we actually had the nerve top pre-print 10,000 of them!
As for the rest…nah, I wont go there today.
