lol, i thought for sure he was gonna nail him again on the second attempt.

I wasn’t aware that soccer added a floor routine.

The flip throw-in is to sports what sparkles are to men’s clothing.

spectacular?

I like the picture of the ref mounting him better than the actual clip.

First of all who defends the man throwing the ball in? Second, Now that right there is funny I don’t care who you are!

The only way to make that clip better would be to have Lebron get hit the same way in an NBA game.

“First of all who defends the man throwing the ball in?”

Grant Hill and Christian Laetner also wonder why you would defend the inbounder.

Thanks for bringing up that horrible memory. I hate Duke, but in all fairness it makes a lot more sense in basketball than it does in soccer because you can use your hands to try to tip or block the pass and in most cases (not all as Duke showed us) it is a tougher pass with someone pressuring the inbound pass, but boy genius here proved me wrong by using his face to deflect the ball back out of bounds for another throw in for the opposing team. I am a former High School soccer player and I am by far that knowledgeable about the game but someone back me up…Defending the throw in is a big no!

I meant by far NOT that knowledgeable

Smitty’s right on this one. I never played soccer and I know you’d never waste a player to defend the throw in. It is an advantage to have more guys where the ball is being thrown to. Basketball is completely different. You’re trying to get the throw in guy to have to burn a time out or get a time violation.
