Ever sit around watching tv and see something that makes you say, “Man, what a great invention! I wish I had thought of that!” This product does not fit that category. Instead, after I heard about this, I said, “Who the hell would buy one of those?” The product I’m referring to is the Withings WiFi Body Scale. It’s not your typical body scale that tells you your weight, body fat percentage, and BMI… it has wireless. And what does it do with a wireless connection to the internet? Tweets your fat ass stats to the world! According to the company’s press release, “users can set up alerts to automatically post their updates to Twitter accounts, further motivating them by sharing their progress with followers.”
