How long has it been since the last post, Mestew?! What the hell is going on!? Well, we’re not the only ones out there with not much going on. Think about your lives over the past week. Get together with friends much lately? Us either. Complete a pretty sweet project lately? Us either. Anything in the news gotten under your skin lately? Ours either. In my observation of the past week, people are doing two things: Christmas shopping and playing Facebook games. I understand the first part, it wouldn’t be like any of us to plan ahead when buying gifts. Actually, as soon as I post this article, I’m going to hop in the car and head to the store myself. But the second part, really? Every time I log onto Facebook, half the listings on my “news feed” involve Farmville, Mafia Wars, Sorority something or other, Farkle, poker, and much more. And the more I try to hide or block them, the more varieties appear! Just when I thought I had Farmville successfully blocked, it spawned some fish tank game that five more friends were playing and sharing. Isn’t there something else to occupy your time? Go drink a beer, do some push-ups, clean your bathroom, something.
