I had the pleasure of meeting Lukas last summer in the Kalamazoo Wiffle League. While talking after games one evening, he had mentioned that he played some local guitar gigs. One of which was a reoccurring session Wednesday nights at University Roadhouse. So, being the supportive friend that I am, I ventured over to give him a listen. Now Lukas is a star on the Wiffle ball field, but that’s nothing compared to his sound on the stage. He’s easily the best solo act I can remember hearing. He mixes in requests (he does a great TLC Waterfalls), some of his own stuff, and occasionally allows a guest singer or strummer.
