Meet your 2012 GOP Candidates

What better time than now to put together a list of 2012 Republican party threats to President-Elect Obama’s crown? I am sure a lot will happen between now and then, but it is fun to take a look at how things shape up as of today. So take a quick look and let me know if I left someone out. (more…)

Endorsements are Ridiculous

Why do we care who Colin Powell endorses for the President of the United States? Is he an authority on who is best to lead this country? Well, maybe he is more of an authority than a newspaper, talk show host, or even worse, an A-list celebrity. Glory Days: Disney World

I love Disney World. Notice how I said love and not loved. If I could justify it, I would still go every year. However, as a mid-20’s single man with no children it is hard to tell everyone you are headed to Orlando for some Mickey time. Back in my Glory Days though, my folks would take us there often and the whole time I was there you couldn’t wipe the grin off my face. “It’s a Small World”, “Space Mountain”, “The Haunted Mansion”, “Mr. Toads Wild Ride”… the list of adventure never ends. Their shooting soon turned into a full contact, blood sport with basketball as a back drop. Eventually, more and more competitors were added and the small game became a large event. (more…)

Everything Is Gonna Be Alright!

All you need do is check the front page of CNN.com to know where the worries of America lie. Every story is about our economic crisis. Well, every story other than the one about Elizabeth Hasselback possibly leaving “The View.” Even that probably has something to do with our unstable socioeconomic environment. Well worry not Nation, we will be fine. Sure, there are some long, dark days ahead of us, but we will persevere. Put a smile on your face and think of the Sam’s Club Sandwich guy. (more…)
