I saw this on CNN today and had to share it with you. I would think most people would know to let go, but apparently letting go isn’t XTREME! Is it safe to say Tropical Storm Fay wins?

I always look forward to the annual Comedy Central Roast. Every year, they pick some pseudo-famous, has been to rip apart for an hour of crude and over the top insult comedy. D-listers such as Greg Giraldo, Lisa Lampenelli, and Jeffery Ross join forces with a large dais sprinkled with the occasional familiar face. The humor is largely crude. One of the most memorable lines in Comedy Central Roast history came when Jeffery Ross told the world that he “…wouldn’t f*** Sandra Bernhardt with Bea Arthur’s d***.” That is the kind of “funny” we are dealing with here. Last night, Saget took the punches. He is largely known for his role as wholesome and lame family man Danny Tanner from the unexplainably popular show “Full House.” Therefore, it was no surprise to me that the roasters took aim at fellow cast mates Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. This ticked Saget and Roastmaster John Stamos off a bit, but it was well received by the masses nonetheless. Overall, it was a funny night. Some acts disappointed, some acts rocked… that is common place at these events. The highlight of the evening for me came with one of the most unlikely funnymen, Gilbert Gottfried. The Beijing Olympics are well underway and the biggest stories all seem to take place in the pool. American Michael Phelps is well on his way to being the greatest Olympic champion of all time with 11 gold medals and counting. But to go along with the great swimmers appears to be controversy over their great suits. When someone says Speedo, most people think of overweight hot, foreign men parading around a beach with a defined package. When Speedo is mentioned at the Olympics, people are thinking of the new LZR Racer suit that swimmers are shattering world records in. Though a suit may seem to be a minor factor in the pool to you, 10 world records had been broken in the first three days of this year’s Olympics. It’s definitely something to think about. What we want to know is what does Mestew Nation think about the new LZR Racer?

I know my timing is a little late, but I just had to make mention of the loss of Bernie Mac and Isaac Hayes this past weekend. Mac had become one of my favorite funny men over the past few years. In addition to his popular stand-up routines, his work in movies like “Ocean 11″ and “Transformers” made even more appealing. Whenever I think of Bernie, I will think of this clip.
